Perfect stay, definitely recommend this !

Everything! We had the family room; the rooms were clean en spacious. The food was good in every restaurant. The pools were clean and also not crowded. We also liked the house reef, it was very easy for us and the kids to go snorkeling from the beach into the Red Sea (not too deep, easy and safe, ...)

The entertainment programma in the Arena could have been better. Our kids (8 years and 10 years old) didn't like the activities in the kids club, it is targeted for much younger children.

Everything was amazing! The quite place with beautiful area, We loved the decoration, Excellent food, Excellent service, Beach so near with beautiful spot of snorkelling. Kids could play Volley, football, padel tennis, petanque,... Just a taste of paradise ;-)!!!

Our family had a relaxing stay and enjoyed all that the resort had to offer.

Everything was great. Resort style facilities, plenty of activities like yoga, Zumba. Play areas, water sports all available.

Food options in the buffet were repititive. Breakfast was fine but lunch & dinner could be better.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds.

The location for diving, Idive centre was awesome. The staff were all friendly, catering, bar, lifeguards and gardening staff. Food was fantastic everyday. Rooms were clean, bed nice and comfy. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained.

Not much tbh. The only thing I could say is the water exercise activities music could be a little lower volume wise and then maybe the instructor wouldn't have to shout so much.

The hotel is very nice if you want a quiet vacation.

1. The coral reef was very nice and the entance in the water was perfect! No pier and one can just walk in by sand without any shoes or hassle. 2. The sunbeds are fantastic! Huge beach, loads of private sphere, super comfortable sunbeds and it is not loud aroud! Didn't have to book anything early in the morning or pay to reserve. 3. The territory is nice and green! Quite a lot of different areas, like one with a waterfall. See photos. 4. Everything is perfectly clean. Also the cleaning crew was very attentive. 5. The room is nice - maybe the bathroom is a tiny bit outdated, but perfectly clean and the room is very spacious and the loggia is perfect, with a view to the green territory and sea. Beds are huge and comfortable. A/C does its job. 6. There is a tennis and a paddle court, rackets to play with for a almost symbolic price. We gladly used the opportunity every day! P.S. Definitely opt for a transfer option from Booking - it is very affordable, reliable and safe! Kudos

FYI: The hotel had elderly German people only :/ Not that it mattered that much, but as a young couple we felt like we're at a wrong place. 1. Well, the entertainment was corresponsing. Bad! The evening show was very weak, lasted less than 30 minutes, the stage was dirty. The singers at the bars were also absolutely terrible, no offence. We've been to Turkey last year and entertainment was MUCH better! With club dances, Aqua aerobics, disco at the evening, etc. 2. The food was not that great either. Quite plain and just one a la carté restaurant with very few options and same every day. But nice ambiénte. P.S. Hurgada Airport Terminal 2 is old and tiny. Fast to go through and absolutely NOTHING to do inside.

The best thing about this hotel is the dive centre and dive sites

Good location to the dive centre and dive site.

Just over all the rooms needs significant updating/renovating installing power sockets with USB connection. The bathrooms also need significant improvement. Better variety of TV channels.

Alex and Margaret at the Fort Arabesque Resort.

We have been here before and will go again. It is a friendly, comfortable hotel which has had the same staff for years, its like going back to see old friends. Our room had a great sea view, was clean, had a fridge, safe, tea making, shower, bath, TV. The hotel does need a bit of bit of a makeover.But the staff and the location make the hotel a big plus for us.

Reserving sunbeds on the beach for 50 Euros a week was a surprise,the Wifi not good.

Food is terrible. The lobby never answer when we call from room. Room safe was broken. They need to change the chief. Very few variety particularly in dinner and beach snacks. Food is dry and doe not taste. They luggage person (Mohamed Omar) left our luggage unattended outside without telling us.

Didn't meet our expectations which was a shame after a fantastic week beforehand on the Nile.

The weather was great but unfortunately it was hard to enjoy the beach which had lots of plastic seals from water bottles on it.

The staff were less than helpful, we were meant to have early check in as booking.com geniuses but our room wasn't ready until 30 minutes after the early check in time. We didn't receive welcome drinks either. We booked a transfer back to the airport and the driver took us to the wrong terminal and then we had to get a local taxi to the correct terminal. We had told the hotel we were flying to Cairo and not back to the UK. The food was average and meal times were very busy in the restaurant. The entertainment was good for children. The spa and it's Thai staff were excellent. You needed to pay for any extras like windsurfing, canoeing, tennis and the gym.

Second visit was not so happy

The best thing about Fort Arabesque is the snorkelling and beach swimming, and this is why I went a second time and would return year after year if there was good quality service from good staff. I've never been anywhere else where you can snorkel right off the beach and the sea is fabulous and very clear. The weather was fabulous for us in April, although pretty cool in the evenings. The main pool is heated which is lovely. The food in the buffet is pretty good, and the beach bars, particularly the one on the West end of the beach are fabulous.

We have four main gripes, and seeing as it was my second time there, and this time I took the rest of the family with me, I feel a bit justified in them! 1. We will never go again (at least with small children) because there was NO BABYSITTING and this was a huge problem for us, and the kids who normally eat at 5.30-6pm and bed at 7pm, could either eat before 5pm or at 7pm. One of the adults in our party always had to miss the evening to babysit, which was a shame. The staff were often grumpy and rude, particularly in the restaurant. 2. Another other very off-putting thing was at reception/check-in, where they seemed surprised when we turned up. No anticipation of our arrival, no attention paid to requests made beforehand... 3. We tried to upgrade one of our rooms to a suite. "It is available tomorrow. Come back in the morning to confirm." When we did, we found they had given it to someone else. 4. The same thing happened with the beach service plus - We wanted the service - "come back at 12 and we will confirm for tomorrow", to find that they had all gone.

Beautiful beaches but wouldn’t stay there again

The food was really nice and the beach was beautiful.

They put us in a room near the elevator where the doors were being slammed all the time. This was obviously a room for people with disabilities as it was very near to all the amenities, elevator and disabled ramp- room allocation was very poor. We had paid for an all inclusive service yet when we got there we found out that there was a “premium all inclusive service” where you get free WiFi and beach service which I thought was the hotels attempt to milk more money out of you. The staff were not friendly and whenever they approached us they spoke in German. While I understand that the majority of the guests were German it is simply wrong to assume that all your guests are German. To add fuel to the fire, I was bugging my partner so much to visit the Giftun island so we went to the I-Dive centre and while one of the representives was talking to us he asked about my partner’s origins and when he said he is British but his origins are Indian another rep decided to join in and asked my partner where he parked his elephant. When I told him that this is a plain racist comment he didn’t even bother with an apology nor did anyone else at the I-Dive centre. We needed a late check out due to our flights schedule, we asked for three days in a row only to be told that we need to ask upon check out, I have explained our situation a few times and that fell on deaf ears and no one was willing to help, finally on the day of our check out we were told that a late check out is avaibable but at a different room we said we didn’t mind as we have a long wait. We were told to pack and empty the room to be moved to another and when we were handing in our room keys at reception we were told we are staying the same room. All in all, I felt that we were not welcomed there, pure racism and poor room allocation and poor organisational skills not to mention the lack of professionalism.

Could not have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay on the Red Sea.

You cannot beat the location, quality of the beach, facilites, and house coral reef at Fort Arabesque. It also has an excellent in house dive shop, I Dive, with several boat trips, shore dives, and snorkel tours daily. Its house reef is excellent and their dive equipment appeared to be in very good shape. Erika, Ivan, and our dive master/instructor Hassan were outstanding. Don't miss dining at Club 159. Every staff member that we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful gardens. Excellent staff. Big rooms. Fantastic reef. I liked that you can get ca s of soda or beer and take to your room

No coffee and tea in room. Pools are freezing cold. Not recommended for younger people. Caters more for retired people. You need to get up early in order to get a decent lounger at a pool or at the beach

Great hotel for Red Sea life

Comfortable, spacious room with sea view, pretty resort grounds, snorkelling straight from the beach, fantastic dolphin and snorkelling trip, west wing (quieter and food and staff better)

Not being able to organise late check-out until check-out day, being hassled by people trying to sell trips on the beach/by the pool, windsurfing staff (windsurfing not included in all-inclusive although advertised as included), choice of soft drinks/mocktails, not able to dine at club 159 as they would not take a booking 2 days in advance and then fully booked when tried later in the week.

Some beautiful corals are within easy snorkeling distance from the beach

The food was mediocre at best and shamelessly repetitive; the waiters are mostly lethargic; you have to reserve sun loungers very early in the morning; the parasols are too small and do not provide adequate sun protection.
